I've decided to go with Aqua-tic Allure for my contacts! I can't wait for them to arrive!!
The Lazy Girl's Guide to Vancouver
If there is a cheap martini or a deal on shoes to be had in this city, I will be there, and so can you.

Bright Blue Eyes!
I have to get new contacts, and I'm planning on ordering from Clearly Contacts. And I thought, since I'm already ordering some stuff, I might give some coloured contacts a try.
My eyes are naturally a grey-ish light blue, so I was thinking about trying some really bright blue or green ones or something.
Has anybody tried these before? I'd be interested to know if there are better brands, etc. Let me know!
Raccoon Eyes
I'm still suffering from raccoon-eyes from waterproof mascara. I'm now accepting suggestions for new ones to try, or new tips.
Yesterday I tried blotting some pressed powder under my eyes once my make-up was done... and that seems to work! But yesterday wasn't very humid, so it could be that. I'll keep trying it and see if it works.
The mascara I'm currently using is Bourjois Paris Volume Clubbing Mascara from Shoppers Drug Mart. It is really hard to get off, and it seems really waterproof except for the bit of raccoon eyes I have to mop up mid-morning every day. This mascara is a little clumpy and I tend to make a bit of a mess with it, but once I tidy it up it looks fabulous. And it lasts forever (except a tiny bit of raccoon eye in the morning).
I use MAC Fluidline as an eyeliner, I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's that? I love this eyeliner, it goes on so nicely with a small, angled brush, and it looks so great!
Well, I'll keep trying the powder for now, and see if I can find any great advice on google.
Ciao!
Yum Yum Yum!
It's time for Dine-Out Vancouver again! Time to try out some new restaurants' set meals for $18, $28 or $38.
I see that the Boathouse is participating again! That's one of my favourite places to eat. Their steaks are to-die-for. Much yummier than the Keg (which is also participating)!
This year I'm hoping to try out Au Petit Chavignol and the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co.
Last year I tried the Reef, which was amazing and had a good, relaxed atmosphere. I plan on trying Abigail's Party at some point, just because the restaurant has such a great name. But they are in the Entertainment Book so I may just wait for that one...
