This weekend is the Festival du Bois in Maillardville! I mention it not so much because it's a trendy thing to do (you have to park in a dirt lot near the garbage dump and take an old school bus to the festival grounds...), but because I love poutine and crepes, and those are the two best things the festival has to offer.
There are also musical acts, children's activities and cultural booths.
But I just have to reiterate that I recommend going for the poutine, crepes and sugar pie!
